Western New Mexico University

Located in Silver City, New Mexico, Western New Mexico University has served the people of the state of New Mexico and its surrounding areas as a comprehensive, regional, rural, public coeducational university since 1893 and caters to a student body diverse in age, culture, language and ethnic background. More than 3,200 students attend WNMU’s five campuses in Silver City, Lordsburg, Deming, Truth or Consequences, and Gallup.

WNMU offers more than 70 areas of study. Ten master degrees, 41 baccalaureate degrees, and 18 associate degrees and certificate programs are available. Fields of study include accounting, criminal justice, education, nursing, occupational therapy, and zoology.

Irrigation Repair

Santa Fe Community College will be repairing irrigation lines at the central roundabout (the drop-off area by the flag poles) Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30. During repairs, the roundabout will not be accessible. Please use other entrances into the main and West Wing parking lots. No parking areas will be affected. Please use caution when walking or driving in the vicinity. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements to campus.
