What Are the Odds? Casino Gambling

Become aware of the underlying mathematics of the various casino table games. Learn why the house advantage exists and how a player might benefit from a basic knowledge of how that advantage is derived. Subjects include the basic mathematics of casino table games, risk taking, money management, betting systems, comps and tipping. The subject of basic strategy and card counting at Blackjack will be addressed.

NEW! Learn Bridge in a Day

Learn Bridge in a Day (LBIAD) is designed to introduce the mechanics, scoring and basic bidding of modern bridge to potential bridge players and players returning to the game after many years absence. The goal is to provide a fun, quick and stress-free introduction to the game’s basic concepts in a five-hour timeframe. Come join us. Patty Tucker, inventor of the course is a life-long bridge enthusiast and nationally renowned bridge instructor. Must register by September 16. Course fee includes class materials, lunch and snacks.
