Martha Romero, Ph.D – Chair
Dr. Martha Romero is the former President of a community college in California. She established several leadership development institutes in Ca., one a community leadership program similar to Leadership Santa Fe and another to train community college leaders through Claremont Graduate University.
Dr. Romero teaches online occasionally and continues to work with community colleges as a leadership coach. She has been a board trainer through the University of Texas at Austin, Claremont Graduate University and the Association of Governing Boards. She serves on the Board of Everest College Phoenix, a private for-profit college, and has served on the SIAS University Foundation Board. SIAS is an American University in rural China.

Linda Siegle – Vice Chair
Linda Siegle is president of a consulting company focused on lobbying the legislature for non-profit agencies and strategic planning. She is a former member of the Santa Fe County Health Policy Commission and has served as chair of various state councils and committees.

Kathy Keith – Secretary
Kathy Keith is the Executive Director of the Regional Development Corporation, a regional economic development organization. She has more than 20 years of experience in public policy, including working in leadership positions in the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Department of Energy and the New Mexico Economic Development Department. She has worked across the nation as a consultant assisting states and communities in designing and implementing cutting-edge workforce development projects. Ms. Keith serves on the Santa Fe Business and Quality of Life Committee and is past President of the Tesuque Elementary PTA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science from Texas Tech University.

Jack Sullivan – Member
Jack Sullivan, Member, is a registered professional engineer who has been president of a Santa Fe-based civil engineering firm for forty years. He was a Santa Fe County Commissioner from 2001 to 2008, serving twice as Chairman, and is a past president of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers. He earned his M.S.C.E. (Engineering-Economic Planning Option) from Stanford University, and B.C.E. from Georgia Tech. A long-time trumpeter with the Santa Fe Concert Band, Mr. Sullivan has also been a youth soccer coach and President of the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association. He is an Airborne-qualified Army veteran (Captain) and served in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam era.

George Gamble, Ph.D – Member
George Gamble, Member, is a cultural anthropologist retired from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he worked mainly in public health and medical research. He completed his BA at Long Island University in New York and his PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In the midst of his education George served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, Africa where he was a member of a team that built schools and teacher housing in the rural areas of the county. A Santa Fe resident since 2005, George served on the Santa Fe County Health Policy and Planning Board, has tutored in the public schools and has been active in supporting public education. George is also a woodworker who has learned much from SFCC Fine Woodworking classes.
