Accountability Measures

Feedback

Several years ago, the New Mexico Legislature passed the Accountability in Government Act, requiring all state agencies to develop measures of accountability to be presented annually to the Legislative Finance Committee. They later added quarterly reports. With the help of the then New Mexico Association of Community Colleges’ Institutional Researches, a set of Accountability Measures were adopted by all New Mexico community colleges and have been reported since then. They appear in the accompanying links.

The purpose of the instruction and general program at New Mexico’s community colleges is to provide credit and noncredit postsecondary education and training opportunities to New Mexicans so they have the skills to be competitive in the new economy and are able to participate in lifelong learning activities.
