Thank you for supporting bonds

SFCC thanks voters for passing General Obligation Bond B for Libraries and Bond C for Higher Education. Bonds provide crucial funding and are needed now more than ever in this economic downturn to help Santa Fe students get on a path to success. Bond C for Higher Education supports SFCC students by providing quality learning environments, fire suppression systems, stucco, and fencing. Bond B provides the SFCC Library funds for collections, subscriptions, electronic access, databases, streaming films, books, and electronic journals. 

“Our Library Team sprang into action when we closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” said Library Director Valerie Nye. “These funds help us to continue creating virtual events for students and the community-at-large, handling laptop loans, supporting faculty with online resources, scanning documents, providing research, offering curbside pickup, and more. Because of the Bond B investment, we can remain a vital, growing, relevant library during covid and into the future.”
