The termination of any employee, or the non-renewal of a member’s or other contract employee’s contract, as a result of a bona fide financial emergency, discontinuation or cancellation of a college program, or restructuring of a college office or function. A RIF constitutes good cause for the termination of an employee’s employment or the termination or non-renewal of a faculty member’s or other contract employee’s contract.
