SFCC Student Parent Advisory Group

Join the SFCC Student Parent Advisory Group to help improve the college experience for student parents like you!
Earn $350/semester to give input on and create new programs and opportunities at SFCC. You will need to commit to 3 hours a month and participate in monthly meetings and activities.
Preference will be given to parents under the age of 30 with a child ages 0-5, but all are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility and Benefits:
- Student parents under 30 with at least one child ages 0-5 or students expecting a child
- Enrolled in an SFCC certificate program
- Must enroll in 6 or more credits per term
- Individual coaching and support
- Connect with peers
- Participate in family activities
- Receive up to $750/semester
Kid’s Campus @SFCC

Kids Campus is a 5-Star NAEYC accredited early care and education center located at Santa Fe Community College. Certificate and degree-seeking students taking more than 6 credits receive priority for enrollment. Please visit the Kids Campus website to apply to the waitlist and make sure to check the box that you are a student.
SFCC Library Family Study Room

The SFCC Library Family Study Room is new family study room available to SFCC students who have children. The room has space for children along with toys, books, and special-sized furniture.
The SFCC library, in partnership with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum, hosts a monthly Family Storytime for children ages 0-5 years old.

Campus Cupboard Food Pantry

The Campus Cupboard Food Pantry is an on-campus resource providing food to anyone in the SFCC Community. Visit their website for contact information or to schedule an appointment.

The Student Resource Directory is a directory of community-wide resources within Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico to help students find non-academic community assistance. Available in English and Spanish.
