Winners, runners-up, and honorable mentions will be published and will be invited to read at the celebration, to be held in late April at Collected Works Bookstore. Winners and runners-up will be considered for the SFCC Foundation Richard Bradford Memorial Creative Writing Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in at least three credits to enter. Questions? Submit entries as Microsoft Word attachments, single-spaced. Five page maximum per entry, please. There’s no limit on the number of entries or number of categories.
Please remove any identifying information from the entry itself.
In the body of the email, please include your name, the title and category of your entry, and your email address and phone number. Receipt of entry will be acknowledged by email. We’ll email results in April.
Judging will be based on the power of the piece of writing as a work of art: intense images, vivid language, original ideas, and polished presentation.
