March 11, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

12-2pm @ Santa Fe Community College in Room 216 in the West Wing
Three Tours is a documentary film made by Betty Yu that captures the lives of three U.S. military veterans, Nicole Goodwin, Ramon Mejia & Ryan Holleran, as they work to heal their wounds and battle with PTSD resulting from their deployments in Iraq. The film follows their transformation from U.S. military trained soldiers to agents of change advocating for proper mental health treatment of veterans and an end to unjust wars.
Screening of the film will be followed by a special panel discussion with filmmaker Betty Yu (director of Three Tours), Ramon Mejia (featured in film & activist) and Monique Salhab (Vets for Peace) and will be moderated by Samia Assed of ACPJ & Emily Stern of the SFCC Center for Diversity and Integrated Learning.
This screening and panel event is presented by the SFCC CDIL, Albuquerque Center for Peace, and Justice (ACPJ) & Albuquerque Chapter Veterans for Peace.
