Positive Discipline gives parents the tools to help young children to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities in ways that are empowering for children and adults. The premise of the model is to help children find a sense of belonging and significance through activities that create connection and mutually respectful and encouraging relationships. This approach creates long term impacts by teaching important social and life skills. Parents learn to facilitate opportunities for children to discover how capable they are.
