Mar. 28 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Honoring Our Relationships Through Solidarity: The Role of Data in Dismantling Systems of Exclusion and Oppression
Open to students, faculty and employees; If you need any special accommodations, please email pdac@sfcc.edu at least three business days in advance of the event

In this session, participants will gather in breakout groups to consider: what counts as data; what types of data is needed at SFCC to dismantle systems of exclusion and oppression; and what are the ways in which data can be used as a driving force toward equity.

On MySFCC you will find a Social Justice Series web page https://my.sfcc.edu/SFCCU8/Social-Justice-Series (login required.) You can access the page from MySFCC by clicking on the “Social Justice Series” button in the Resources section or the “Social Justice Series” menu item.  This page will be updated with links for all of the online events.  You’ll also see the full schedule and speaker bios.

The series funded by Title V was developed by a subcommittee of the President’s Diversity Advisory Committee. This series dovetails with last spring’s employee Professional Development Day that explored many ideas regarding anti-racism and equity.
