About the Author

My name is Austin Eichelberger and I’ll be using this website to archive pieces of my writing as they become available after publication. Over 60 pieces of my creative writing—mostly fiction, but also some poetry and memoir—have been published or are forthcoming from journals and anthologies including Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine, Extract(s) and Nanosim.

I earned my Master’s of the Arts in English and Creative Writing with a focus on Fiction Writing from Longwood University in 2009. Since then, I’ve taught university-level courses in English and writing, and I’ve also worked as a book designer, bookseller, event planner, tutor, journal editor, freelance writer, and freelance editor/proofreader, among a few other less literary things. I currently serve as Editor-In-Chief of Tiny Text (@Tiny_Text), a literary journal on Twitter, and I’m a Fiction student in the MFA at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
