Two positions on the Santa Fe Community College Governing Board will be determined during the election on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Those interested in becoming a candidate for the college’s Governing Board must file a declaration of candidacy and sworn statement of intent with the County Clerk between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27. Any resident of the Santa Fe Community College District over the age of twenty-one (21) who is a qualified elector of the State of New Mexico, who desires to become a candidate for the office of member of the Community College District Board shall file a declaration of candidacy. Employees of SFCC can run to be on the Board, they just have to resign employment with SFCC if they win and want to serve.
August 27, 2019 – Date for candidates to file with the County Clerk’s Office, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
November 5, 2019—Election Day
