At the Santa Fe Community College Film Department, we offer certificates, two-year degrees, and have a workforce training focus. We are a small but vibrant program offering classes in crew training for the film industry, acting, directing, cinematography, editing and studies classes. We have articulations (pathways for students) to NMSU, IAIA, and Seattle Film Institute. What’s unique about Santa Fe Community College is you can check out a camera on day one and start shooting your film, most films school won’t let you touch gear until your third year. We have fantastic faculty and staff and everything you need to make your film a reality, including industry standard camera, lighting, sound and grip gear. We have fast, powerful, and comfortable edit suites, recording studio, green screen room and sound stage. We are happy to answer any questions about or program or stop by and we will give you a tour.
