Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician – Basic

This program is to prepare students to provide emergency care in a 911 setting. EMT-Basics are licensed professionals in the State of New Mexico who work under the guidance of a Medial Director and provide care in numerous settings from urban to wilderness. Successful completion of this course will allow students to sit for the National Registry Board Exam for New Mexico licensure.

Prerequisite to the program: Students must place into or have taken ENGL 111 or show proof of college English.

Irrigation Repair

Santa Fe Community College will be repairing irrigation lines at the central roundabout (the drop-off area by the flag poles) Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30. During repairs, the roundabout will not be accessible. Please use other entrances into the main and West Wing parking lots. No parking areas will be affected.
