President Becky Rowley, Ph.D., participated in her first SFCC commencement ceremony. New Mexico Cabinet Secretary of Workforce Solutions Bill McCamley provided the keynote address. Student speaker Leslie Orena Quintana Ayala, who earned a Certificate in Early Childhood Development, inspired the audience with her personal story.
This fall, approximately 361 SFCC graduates were eligible to receive 417 awards. Forty-five students received more than one award. Of those awards, 289 were for certificates.
