  • The market target is the 50th percentile of base pay.

Pay Ranges:

Pay ranges are divided into three equal parts to provide guidance on where in the market range a specific employee should be paid:

  1. Tercile 1 (Entry to MR Point 1):
    Base pay is at the low end of competitive, suitable for newer or less experienced staff (relative to their job).
  1. Tercile 2 (MR Point 1 to MR Point 3):
    Base pay is fully competitive within this range.
  1. Tercile 3 (MR Point 3 to Max):
    Base pay is at the high end of competitive, generally reserved for highly experienced staff (relative to their job) who have demonstrated strong performance over time.
