Since January 2014, SFCC Career Services has been in partnership with AARP Foundation to offer Back to Work 50+, a program designed to assist women age 50+64, who are unemployed or underemployed and seeking full-time employment. Men and women outside this age group are also elgible to participate.
No enrollment in AARP is required and you will not be solicited to join.

In March 2015, SFCC was approved for a renewed and expanded AARP Foundation Back to Work 50+ grant with a new partner, the federal Social  Innovation Fund.  This grant is expected to go through February 2018.

ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ACCEPTANCE INTO THIS FREE PROGRAM.

You will receive a helpful packet in the mail, which includes the booklet “7 Smart Strategies for 50+ Job Seekers” and local job search resources.
