Volunteer in the Community (HUDV-170)

The Volunteer in the Community course is an excellent way to gain college credit while helping the community. You may explore a field of study and a career path, strengthen your resume or college and scholarship application as well as experience the satisfaction of volunteering. With the wealth of community non-profits, schools and government agencies in the Santa Fe area, volunteer sites are virtually unlimited. SFCC students have had volunteer placements at agencies such as the Food Depot, Habitat for Humanity, Warehouse 21, public schools and on our campus.

HUDV-170 is a variable credit pass/fail course. You may register for one, two or three credits in a semester and for up to six credits while at SFCC. Please consult with your counselor about transfering these credits. This is an open entry class; you may register up to three weeks before the end of the semester. Volunteer in the Community is available in the fall and spring semesters.
