Veterans Resource Center at SFCC

military fiendly school

August 29, 2014 - Santa Fe Community College’s ongoing commitment to the veterans in our community has recently been recognized with designation as a ‘Military Friendly School.’ The designation is given to acknowledge the high quality of services and resources provided to U.S. veterans and their family members by a college. Only the top 20 percent of colleges and universities nationwide receive the designation.

The Military Friendly designation is derived from a set of criteria from Victory Media, Inc., a veteran-owned business that surveys thousands of institutions nationally. Information about SFCC and other Military Friendly Schools is shared in publications such as G.I. Jobs, Military Spouse and Vetrepreneur Magazine. Read news release.

The Veterans Resource Center at SFCC is a centralized resource, easily acessible and available to all veterans who would like to explore their educational goals at SFCC.
