SFCC Green by Degrees Student Video
I'm a student in the School of Business and Applied Technologies at SFCC. I got an E-mail from Campus Ecology about the National Wildlife Federation's Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming, a competition recognizing colleges for their efforts in sustainability and going green. I knew that a lot of hard work has been done at SFCC, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to make a video about SFCC sustainability projects and put it out to compete with other colleges.
My thanks to all who helped make this video possible: students Clemente S. McFarlane Jr. and Dionysios McCutcheon and staff members Kate Garduno and Stuart Stephenson who helped us brainstorm the ideas. We interviewed President Sheila Ortego, Martha Sorensen, Lou Shreiber, Frank Joy and Michelle Roetzer. Special thanks to them and also Michael McKittrick's economics class and Amy R. Pilling's class Intro to Sustainability. Doreen Gallegos, Marshall S. Martinez and Oman Cooper helped us to videotape and edit the video.
