Sign Up for SFCC's New Emergency Alert System
SFCC Alert is our new service for emergency and weather alerts to students, faculty, staff and community members. SFCC Alert can send timely notifications in case of an emergency or weather delays/closures to you via text, email, the SFCC website and social media. SFCC Alert requires no installation of hardware or software.
It’s easy to register: go to https://www.getrave.com/login/sfcc and follow the instructions.
Once registered, you will receive a welcome email with a confirmation link. Once you confirm your email address, you can edit your options to receive alerts via text message - up to 3 different mobile numbers; email - up to 3 different addresses, and on up to 3 land lines.
Registrants may incur standard text messaging costs in accordance with their mobile plan. If you'd like to avoid messaging charges, you can sign up without providing a cell phone number.
Please note: If you were signed up for the college’s former emergency alert system (NOTIFYAll), you received a text message reminding you to register with the new system. Current subscribers who were not registered with SFCC Alert by August 1, 2012, will no longer receive alerts.
