SFCC Recognizes Employees with Service Awards

April 8, 2004 — Santa Fe Community College celebrated and recognized employees at a service awards luncheon today honoring four employees for excellent work and dozens of employees for various years of service.

“It’s a great day at SFCC to recognize so many employees for years of service with the college and present four employees with excellence awards,” said Karla Quintana, human resources director. “These are exemplary employees and deserve special recognition.”

Andrew Kerr, instructor of architecture, drafting, construction management and building skills, won the Full-Time Faculty Excellence Award. Dana Gass, instructor of fitness, won the Part-Time Faculty Excellence Award. Susan Dugan, department secretary, won the Full-Time Staff Excellence Award, and Sarah Alvord, lead tutor, won the Part-Time Staff Excellence Award.

The following employees were honored with service awards:

The excellence awards (plaques and cash awards) recognize current full- and part-time SFCC faculty and staff members who have demonstrated professional excellence and unusual effort in support of the college’s mission.

The Foundation for the Santa Fe Community College funded the cash awards for full-and part-time faculty and for full-and part-time staff members.
