SFCC Recognizes Employees with Service Awards |
|
April 8, 2004 — Santa Fe Community College celebrated and recognized employees at a service awards luncheon today honoring four employees for excellent work and dozens of employees for various years of service. “It’s a great day at SFCC to recognize so many employees for years of service with the college and present four employees with excellence awards,” said Karla Quintana, human resources director. “These are exemplary employees and deserve special recognition.” Andrew Kerr, instructor of architecture, drafting, construction management and building skills, won the Full-Time Faculty Excellence Award. Dana Gass, instructor of fitness, won the Part-Time Faculty Excellence Award. Susan Dugan, department secretary, won the Full-Time Staff Excellence Award, and Sarah Alvord, lead tutor, won the Part-Time Staff Excellence Award. The following employees were honored with service awards: 20 Years: Chris Abeyta; 15 Years: Christine M. Gerzanich, Jane V. Sandoval, Martha M. Valdez and Willie A. Bachicha; 10 Years: Barbara R. Tucci, Colleen Lynch, Maria Cristina Lopez, Matthew C. Fontis, Melissa Ortiz, Sheila Baca and Susan ‘Shuli’M. Lamden; and Five Years: Andrew Kerr, Barbara Velarde, Behzad Dayeny, Camilla Phillips, Carl J. Shearer, Chantel Reynolds, Charlene Sarossy, Charles R. Mays, Christina Buti, Cori Griffith, Dana M. Gass, DeAnn Sena, Diane C. Kullman, Dianna Luces, Dolores Napier, Elizabeth Griego, Emily Smith, Eric Christoffersen, Francine Fischer, Gail R. Terzuola, Gloria Duran, Gretchen Scott, Janie Milner, Jennifer Nollette, John P. Le Doux, Judy Morse, Kathy J. The excellence awards (plaques and cash awards) recognize current full- and part-time SFCC faculty and staff members who have demonstrated professional excellence and unusual effort in support of the college’s mission.
