Welcome to the School of Trades and Technology
The School of Trades and Technology offers students an arena in which they can use organizational and designing skills to analyze and creatively develop solutions to our needs for clean water, moderate temperatures and livable buildings.
Course work incorporates nuts-and-bolts skills as well as conceptual, high-tech training. Those skills can be used in a variety of jobs, including self-employment and consulting, and can incorporate sustainable approaches to individual and corporate needs.
The School of Trades and Technology programs are designed to integrate with the Sustainable Technologies Center to promote advanced technologies and a "green" curricula to develop a sustainability economy. Comprehensive training in all aspects of energy efficiency and residential weatherization is available through the New Mexico Energy$mart Academy and the Santa Fe Community College Center of Excellence.
Continuing Education and Workforce Development
Continuing Education at Santa Fe Community College provides credit and noncredit courses for all ages. These short classes and workshops can provide people a valuable means of personal and professional development. Online classes too!
