Julia Banaszek, RN, MSN. Assistant Professor Department of Health & Sciences, Lead Instructor Level III Nursing
Julia received her RN in 1975 and her BSN in 1986 from The College of Santa Fe and her M.S. in Nursing Education from University of Phoenix. Julia is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and as a CPR instructor in CPR. She has been working at SFCC since 2004 as an instructor in Obstetrics. Julia has worked as a staff nurse in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Recovery, supervisory and Home Health Care for over 35 years.
Julia teaches clinical maternal/newborn care and is the level III Lead Instructor.

Sandra received her RN as diploma graduate from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1981. She completed her RN/BSN from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences in 1987 and an MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix in 2008. In 2014 she received American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Professional practice areas include: public/community health nursing, acute care, long term care, staff education, quality improvement and community health nurse manager nursing positions.
Sandy entered full time academic nursing education to give back to the nursing profession and to help create the next generation of nurses.

Warren Goldenberg, RN, MSN, CFNP.
Warren Goldenberg began his career after receiving a Bachelor's degree in health education from San Francisco State University in 1995. He then began working with the homeless population of San Francisco as an outreach worker, where he encountered his first HIV positive clients. He decided to further his career by earning a nursing degree from University of California San Francisco. He completed his Master's in Nursing at University of St. Francis and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Warren is passionate about providing specialty care to HIV and Hepatitis-C positive patients and assisting in clinical research for new medications for these populations. He is equally passionate about providing excellent training to his nursing students at SFCC. Waren joined the faculty in 2014.

Jennifer Rogers, BSN. Lab Coordinator Skills and Simulation
Jennifer (Ginger) Rogers is a native of Santa Fe. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSN in 1978. She is currently attending South University through Savannah Georgia and is working toward completion of her Master's degree.
Ginger joined the staff of Santa Fe Community College nursing program in 2010. Her professional career included clinical nursing as well as management in critical care and emergency medicine. Ginger loves nursing and is committed to helping the students be successful.

Beverly Romero, RN, MSN. Lead Instructor, Level II
Beverly Romero is a native of Santa Fe. She graduated from the Santa Fe Community College nursing program in 2006 and went on to receive her master’s degree in nursing education in June 2012. Her professional nursing portfolio includes working in settings such as assisted living, cruise ship nursing, medical surgical nursing and five years of emergency nursing. Beverly is passionate about teaching and committed to the educational success of students.

Nursing was a mid-life career change for Pauline Tither, following a long time interest in community-based care and public health, in nutrition, and in the prevention, control, and treatment of infectious diseases. Pauline received an associate’s degree in nursing from Montgomery College in Maryland, and MSN and DNP degrees from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. Pauline’s work experience includes caring for patients with active and latent tuberculosis, and working in primary care and women’s health at a community clinic. Her doctoral work focused on mosquito-borne diseases.
Pauline has always enjoyed teaching and seeing students succeed in their studies. She is delighted to have joined the faculty at SFCC in August 2015.
Susan Winter, RN, MSN. Lead Instructor, Level IV
Susan Winter received her B.S.N. at the University of Maine in 1975 and earned her M.S.N. at the University of Connecticut in 1983. She joined SFCC in August of 2009 as part of Level II nursing faculty. Currently, Susan is Lead for Level IV Nursing in Adult Nursing II.
She has been in nursing for over 30 years in various positions including hospital nursing, intensive care, home infusion, home care and hospice. She is currently involved in the statewide common nursing curriculum work, participating in the clinical and simulation committee. Susan loves gardening, hiking, her grandchildren and her dogs.
