Rebecca Jeffs DOM, RRT, RCP
Program Director, Respiratory Therapy
Rebecca Jeffs earned her B.A. focused on Education and Child Study from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada in 1975. She received her certificates in Respiratory Therapy from Northern New Mexico Community College and the University of Chicago Hospitals clinics in 1979 and 1982 respectively, and has over twenty years of experience in clinical respiratory therapy. Rebecca earned a Master of Acupuncture from Southwestern Acupuncture College in 1991. She is credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as an Acupuncturist. She maintains New Mexico licenses in both fields.
Rebecca has lived and worked in New Mexico since 1978 and joined SFCC and the respiratory therapy program in 2008. She teaches respiratory therapy classes, directs the respiratory therapy program and can occasionally be found teaching free meditation classes in the fitness center. When not at SFCC she enjoys walking her dog, working on her house and garden, and traveling.

Ramar Jette is the SFCC Respiratory Therapy Clinical Education Coordinator and a classroom and clinical Instructor. He is credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and has been a licensed Respiratory Care Practioner in New Mexico for 12 years serving variously as Staff Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Educator and Manager at St. Vincent regional Medical Center, Heart Hospital of New Mexico and Physicians Medical Center of Santa Fe. He holds associates degrees in science from SFCC and CNM (Respiratory Therapy) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management.
Ramar is a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and is passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare for the citizens of New Mexico. He has served as a regional director and president of the New Mexico Society of Respiratory Care, and volunteers as a patient advocate. He enjoys outdoor activities in our beautiful mountains including mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing.
