Eve M. Kwiatkowski
Director, Emergency Medical Services Institute

Eve received her bachelor's degrees in Environmental Biology and Human Resource Management from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado. She went on to get her paramedic certification and AAS from Pueblo Community College for 13 years; Eve worked as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service and developed a love of the outdoors, teaching and wilderness medicine. After relocated back to her home in Colorado, she worked in the 991 field as a Senior Emergency Room Technician, for a private and public ambulance service and then finally as an EMS instructor at Pueblo Community College in Pueblo, Colorado.

Eve started at SFCC in early 2006 to get the paramedic program going and then assumed the role as director for the Emergency Medical Services Institute in December of 2006. She teaches at all levels and is blessed to have a loving husband, Tom and four dogs, Homer, Eddie, Polly and Kazoo. She loves teaching and EMS and cannot imagine doing anything else.
