School of Business, Education and Professional Studies - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Endorsement Program
Certificate (CERT) in TESOL Endorsement
The TESOL endorsement offers the necessary knowledge, skills, attitude, and awareness to support the language development and academic achievement of English Language Learners (ELLs). The eight-course program is aligned with the New Mexico Public Education Department's TESOL competency requirements.
Additionally, there is an abridged route for adding a TESOL endorsement in which students take 6 TESOL credits, demonstrate 6 credits of foreign language on a college transcript, and pass the NMTA TESOL Exam.
Now accepting applications.
