Do you work well with others? Can you cope with stress? Do you enjoy solving practical problems or experimenting with different theoretical ideas? If so, then a degree in psychology can be your ticket to career success.
To try to better understand yourself and others, or to prepare yourself for a professional career, SFCC’s Psychology Program courses will introduce you to the foundations of psychology as well as abnormal, cognitive, social and developmental psychology. You can study the brain and behavior, learning and memory, human sexuality, and the practice of effective communication and counseling skills. Whether you plan on pursuing a four-year degree or higher, an associate's degree in psychology can open the door to many career opportunities.
