General Engineering - School of Trades, Technology, Sustainability and Professional Studies
Associate in Science (AS)
About the Program
Engineers have the power to make a difference in the world. They help control and prevent pollution, develop new medicines, create advance technologies and explore new worlds. Engineers start at significantly higher salaries than other college graduates and the demand for engineers is high and consistent.
Santa Fe Community College's General Engineering program is strictly for those who plan to transfer to universities to earn bachelor's degrees in engineering or engineering technologies. The courses are patterned after the lower-division courses at universities so you'll get most of your required general education courses plus some core requirements in your chosen major.
