About the Program

Go Where the Green Careers are Growing!

If you're dedicated to helping make the world a cleaner, more energy efficient place, an associate's degree or certificate from SFCC in Environmental Technologies could be a great way to start. This program will provide you with an understanding of the basic issues regarding sustainability, renewable energy and water conservation. Upon completion of the program you'll be ready to seek entry-level positions in a wide range of energy and water related businesses or organizations. You could even consider starting your own business.

The curriculum is both theoretical and practical. You'll get project-based learning and assessment in simulated work environments. The program will help develop your critical thinking and problem solving skills by emphasizing teamwork on group projects. You'll have a strong foundation that will allow you to adapt to a wide range of employment opportunities in a diverse emerging industry.
