About the Program
If the precision and detail of engineering plans appeals to you, then the drafting and engineering technology program might be a good fit. This degree provides students with opportunities to acquire skills necessary to enter the workplace as competent drafting and engineering technicians. This program combines computer-based modeling with conventional methods in engineering graphics communication to solve drafting and basic design-related problems. Coursework includes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) competencies.
