About Us
Santa Fe Community College Library contains approximately 50,000 items including books, videos, periodicals, microforms, maps, DVDs, CDs, and audio books. The library shares, LIBROS, an online catalog and circulation system with the University of New Mexico libraries.
The library has cooperative agreements with other academic libraries within the state and is linked electronically to the collections of more than 30,000 other libraries worldwide through the OCLC system.
A growing collection of archival materials relating to the history and development of SFCC is housed in the library.
Mission Statement
The mission of the library is to support and enhance the research and instructional services of Santa Fe Community College by prioritizing the educational needs of students, faculty, staff, and the community. This mission will be facilitated by creating an environment for growth of the information literate person by providing instruction on how knowledge is organized and how to effectively locate and evaluate that information.
