ESL Faculty Bios
Roxie Daggett
ESL/Civics Specialist
Roxie Daggett received a B.A. in English from the University of Puget Sound and a teaching certificate from Pacific Lutheran University with endorsements in English and ESL. She has worked for seven years in the public schools teaching both English and ESL in elementary and middle school classrooms in both Washington and California. Her professional training and experience include reading and writing training, work in Special Education settings, and strategies for working in racially and economically diverse communities.
Roxie also holds a New Mexico teacher license in English and TESOL. As an ESL/Civics Specialist, she is enthusiastic about helping adult English Learners improve their English and participate more fully in their community.
