Preparing To Study Online
Distance Learning Tech Jam
SFCC offers an online tutorial called a Tech Jam for students preparing to study online for the first time. Tech Jam teaches students to use Blackboard, the learning management software used by SFCC. There is also a Tech Check for students who have completed the Tech Jam online and need some face to face help with Blackboard.
Note: neither the Tech Jam nor the Tech Check are designed to help students with content.

Beginning in Fall 2010 Tech Jam will be available online. Watch announcements in JACK for dates and times of the Tech Check Open Lab or call Distance Learning at 428-1166.
