Vaune Hegmann

Vaune Hegmann has worked in social services, with special needs populations, for 21 years and has served in non-profit administration for 12 years. She is a native of New Orleans and after Hurricane Katrina, Vaune coordinated the disaster recovery initiative of the Presbytery of South Louisiana. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and received her Master’s Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans.
After a sabbatical year, Vaune accepted this position at SFCC. She says, “I am so very happy to be here and look forward to the rewards and challenges of serving our students.”
Susan Johnson

Susan B. Johnson attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. She substituted in the Santa Fe Public School system for 11 years while raising four children. At SFCC, she is a Special Needs Liaison, working with students with disabilities and their instructors. She also guides new and returning students in time management, course placement, study skills, class selection, and career goals. She works with students to create a balance in their class schedules to give them their best shot at success.

Nan Keegan graduated from Salem State College with a Masters in Social Work. She has worked with all ages in a variety of settings: non-profit agencies; public schools; and community colleges. In her commitment as a life-long learner, she believes in the transforming power of education.
