Adult Education - YouthBuild

Santa Fe Community College’s YouthBuild Program is recruiting out of school youth between the ages of 16 and 24 for the next program cycle starting August 22nd, 2016!

YouthBuild students complete their High School Equivalency while learning construction and leadership skills.  Applicants must be 16 to 24, drug and alcohol free, and make a 7-month commitment weekdays from 9 to 4.

Application deadline is August 8th.

Santa Fe Community College YouthBuild program’s mission is to respectfully encourage disadvantaged youth in the adventure and discipline of learning and personal development in pursuit of more productive, compassionate and satisfying lives in service to their community.

We approach this mission with respect for individual creativity and intelligence, acknowledgement of challenging life circumstances and a sense of accountability to, and collaboration with, our wider community.

Youthbuild is fully funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
