In January 2014, YouthBuild students began work on an amazing project - they set out to build an entire house on site at SFCC.

On completion, the house will be moved to a lot in the city of Santa Fe and sold at below market price to a low-income family. On July 3, 2014, the first wall was raised! Construction will proceed rapidly now, with exterior walls going up in time to close in the house for winter. Interior walls and plumbing and electrical rough-in will take place while it's cold outside - and students will be warm inside. The Project House is scheduled to be finished by March 2015, so watch this page and Facebook for updates!
