Academic Calendar - Current Semester

The Academic Calendar reflects major dates and events in the college community. Deadlines for all student record transactions are specified for regular 16-week semester courses. Deadlines for alternative calendar courses (late-starting, online, self-paced and short-term courses) are posted in the schedule of credit classes and available in the Registrar’s Office.

SUMMER 2013
Registration begins – NM residents	April 15
• Register between April 15–May 15 (payment arrangements are due by 4:30 p.m. on May 15) • Register between May 16–May 29 (payment arrangements are due by 4:40 p.m. on May 29)
Open registration begins - open to all	May 31
Memorial Day – college closed	May 27
Deadline - petition to graduate summer 2013	June 7
Independence Day - college closed	July 4

First Four-Week Session
Classes begin	June 3
Schedule changes only (drop/add) and Late Registration	June 3 - 5
Deadline to drop without a grade and obtain a refund	June 4
Deadline to change audit/credit status	June 13
Deadline to withdraw from class(es)	June 18
Final examinations	during last week of classes
Session ends	June 29
Final grades due to Registrar's Office by 5 p.m.	July 1

Eight-Week Session
Classes begin	June 3
Schedule changes only (drop/add) and Late Registration	June 3 - 5
Deadline to drop without a grade and obtain a refund	June 13
Deadline to change audit/credit status	June 28
Deadline to withdraw from class(es)	July 5
Final examinations	during last week of classes
Session ends	July 27
Final grades due to Registrar's Office by 5 p.m.	July 29

Second Four-Week Session
Classes begin	July 1
Schedule changes only (drop/add) and Late Registration	July 1-2
Deadline to drop without a grade and obtain a refund	July 2
Deadline to change audit/credit status	July 12
Deadline to withdraw from class(es)	July 17
Final examinations	during last week of classes
Session ends	July 27
Final grades due to Registrar's Office by 5 p.m.	July 29

** Failure to arrange payment by the deadline could result in losing your place in class.
