Academic Calendar Current Semester

The Academic Calendar reflects major dates and events in the college community. Deadlines for all student record transactions are specified for regular 16-week semester courses. Deadlines for alternative calendar courses (late-starting, online, self-paced and short-term courses) are posted in the schedule of credit classes and available in the Registrar’s Office.

SPRING 2016  
Registration – New Mexico Residents Nov. 17
  • Register between Nov. 17–Jan. 12
    (payment arrangements are due by 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 12)
  • Register by Jan. 14 or after
    (payment due at time of registration)
Open registration begins – open to all Jan. 15
Deadline to petition to graduate spring 2016 Jan. 29

Registration Fall 2016 begins - NM residents April 26
Deadline to petition to graduate summer 2016 May 9
Final examinations May 9-14
Semester ends May 14
Final grades due to Registrar's Office by 5 p.m. May 16
Commencement May 14, 2 p.m.
Memorial Day - college closed May 30
Registration and payment is available online at all times including after hours, weekends and holidays.
Failure to arrange payment by the deadline could result in losing your place in class.
