Phi Theta Kappa

Welcome to the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society's
Alpha Kappa Xi Chapter at Santa Fe Community College

Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages the academic achievement of two-year college students and provides opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.

May 2011 Honorees
Ten students at the Santa Fe Community College were recently admitted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The students and the program they are enrolled in are:

Erica Abeyta, media arts; Marcos Gabriel Abeyta, film production; Lila Brock, fashion design; Rose Chavez, fine arts, dance; Joanne M. Frey, photography; Margaret E. Gold, psychology; Lena Felice Knox, psychology; Richard Masterson, HVAC; Mary Ellen Montoya Gomez, psychology; Carmen Stone, human services.

December 2011 Honorees
Raquel Baca-Tompson, General Studies; Debra Garcia, Business Administration; Barbara Griego, Computer Science; Adrian Andre, Education; Grace Lucero-Tarin, General Studies; Mary Kerns, Fine Arts; Reuben Holmgren, Nursing; Milly DaSilva, Nursing; Denise Lynch, Film Production.
