Student Clubs And Organizations

Getting involved on campus is one of the quickest ways to become part of the college community and create your own unique SFCC experience. SFCC over 30 active student clubs and organizations on campus. Most student clubs and organizations are primarily active in the fall and spring semesters of the academic year. These student-run organizations are a great way to meet new people, have fun and develop leadership and management skills.

Studies show that students who are involved at their college:

  • receive better grades
  • are more satisfied with their overall college experience
  • be successful in their academic program
  • are more likely to stay in school
  • are more marketable when job searching and/or applying to other schools

Student Clubs must be registered in the Office of Student Development in order to:

  • use college facilities
  • be listed in college publications
  • use the college name in publicity
  • receive funding from SFCC

Stop by the Office of Student Development or participate in the Student Involvement Fair held at the beginning of each semester to find out if anyone of the current clubs interests you or learn how to start a club of your own.
