SFCC Celebrates 30 Years
Established in 1983, Santa Fe Community College has grown rapidly to meet the education and workforce needs of our community. More students than ever are finding the courses and programs they need to achieve their dreams, expand their horizons or to help prepare them to be career ready. Today, the college serves more than 15,000 students per year in our credit, noncredit and adult basic education programs.
The campus is situated on 366 acres in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Over the years, state-of-the-art facilities have been built thanks to the support of our local voters. Construction has been guided by a long-range campus development plan, first adopted in 1984. In 2013, SFCC created the Strategic Plan for 2013-2018.
SFCC turned 30 years old in 2013 and we started the celebration with a birthday bash at Convocation on August 15. Monthly events showcasing SFCC's academic and public programs followed throughout the year. Look for more anniversary events in 2014!
Letterhead and envelopes with the 30th Anniversary graphic are available for purchase in the College Bookstore.
